Brown Hawker wideangle 1 [51 of 151]
A Brown Hawker dragonfly (Aeshna grandis) in reeds at the side of a lake. Taken in Oakthorpe, Leicestershire, England. An early start rewarded me with this Brown Hawker dragonfly, normally a skittish species but this one had yet to warm up. I was keen to capture the dragonfly in its habitat so photographed it with a Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens on a Canon 7D.
